Bring out the artist in you by enrolling in the multitude of workshops and classes at the Center. From ceramics to photography, painting to fiber arts, you are sure to discover your talent here.
A minimum number of students are required for each class/workshop to be held. Class registrations are reviewed one week prior to the start date to determine whether or not a class has enough participants or if the class needs to be cancelled. To ensure a class you are interested in is available when you register, please register as early as possible. If a class has met the minimum by a week out, registrations for that class will continue to be accepted that week unless the class is full. Another reason to register early - classes frequently sell out, and sometimes very quickly!
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Unless otherwise stated, classes are for students ages 18 and older. All registrations must be accompanied by full payment. Payment may be made online by credit card while while viewing class descriptions on this website. While we also accept payment by personal check with the mail-in registration form, patrons should call first to see if the class has space available. Please note that we cannot guarantee that classes won't fill up before a mailed registration form arrives.
Registrations within a week of the class beginning will need to be done by calling 804-261-ARTS(2787). A $10 "last minute" registration fee per class will be added to the class registration total amount.
* If you choose to pay by check and your check is dishonored, you agree to pay a service fee of $35, or any higher amount allowed by law, and we may electronically debit or draft your account for this fee. Also, if your check is returned for insufficient or uncollected funds, your check may be electronically re-represented for payment.
"The Center instructors have expertise in their respective art form and are passionate about passing on their knowledge to area residents," said K Alferio, Center President. "We are pleased to offer this vast array of classes."
